Cabinet - royal gold

Took weeks but I made this cabinet mosaic painted beauty. The counter is mosaiced and the rest of the cabinet is painted and fauxed. LOTS of work!

Turning the corner

My favorite and best piece. Dichroic glass, stained glass, lots of jewlery, smalti, rhinestones, and miliflori.

Jeweled Box - sold

Junk store wooden mail box holder. Made from all kinds of jewels, stained glass, gold smalti, rhine stones, and costume jewels. Beautiful piece - sorry I sold it.

First Commission

Here is my first commission for my friend Colleen. It took me months to make this - out of plates and stained glass. Learned a lot and really had to grow to make this.

Hummingbird Ball

The garden ball is very light, and extremely colorful. . The hummingbird is stain glass and the rest of the ball is made from glass beads (multiple colors). It is sealed for the outdoors. The color - bright blue:) The back has roman type style lines.

Crane of hope!

The crane was a real experience for me. The center of the crane is gold smalti (bumpy) and smooth gold smalti. The black edge is smalti, as well as the blue crystal or clear Italian smalti. The rest of the works is fused glass and mirror. The beautiful tile bars I purchased for $.50 a piece (on sale of course). The grout is both sanded and non-sanded (boo!) grout. God I hate non-sanded grout! The entire piece is twenty-one by 29 inches. It is mounted on Hardibacker (so great for the oudoors). The mirror is very old (extremely) andhad ejected flowers. The piece is very flawed, which I like. The piece is for sale at $500. The work is gorgeous and one of the best pieces that I have done - have to see it to appreciate it!

Mirror - fused glass

The mirror is made from 28 beautiful individual fused glass squares I was able to find at a jewlery whole saler - going out of business sale. The designer made the glass for a kitchen back splash area - boy was I fortunate to be able to get these gorgeous pieces of glass. My husband had just come back form New York with the ugly mirror frame - knocked out the surrounding mirrors - had to fix the substrate and beauty! Materials - stained glass - fused glass.

unfinished crane

The crane is as yet unfinshed - boy have I learned a lot making this long and tedious bird! It will hang on my front porch wall protected from the elements:)

Mosaic Fountain Stand

Here is a stand I mosaiced to go with the fountain purchased at a local ceramic festival. Materials: glass, tibet metal stars, glass marbles, tiles, grout, and paint.

Kaytee's China Cabinet

This cabinet was for my beautiful daughter, Katyee. She picked the colors and suggested the pictures that I mosaiced into the counter. It is beautiful - yes, she made the right decision for the colors.
